A static QR code contains the content you enter
Website codes contain your HTTP(S) address directly. Text codes contain your text, including Unicode. Wi-Fi codes contain the network name and, for secured networks, the password. The tool does not fetch your link or create a redirect service. Changing a printed code’s destination requires generating a new code, unless you control a redirect at your own website.
Anyone who scans a Wi-Fi code can obtain its password. The browser keeps entries only while you use the page; use Clear inputs to remove them and the generated preview. A QR code is not encryption or access control.
Scan the download before sharing
Use PNG for screens and SVG for scalable printing. Keep the white border, high contrast and square proportions. Scan with a second device to verify the exact content. Connecting to Wi-Fi depends on the scanner and device. The PNG pixel dimensions vary with the number of QR modules and the selected resolution; only measured dimensions and file sizes are shown.
