Text utilities and file-size calculator
A separate area for JSON, Base64, text counts, passwords and size units. These utilities do not compress files.
Choose by task
Format JSON for readable comparison, encode text for a technical interface, or check a form’s counting rules. The size calculator distinguishes decimal and binary units. Read each tool’s limitations before using its output.
Format JSON
Validate JSON syntax and format it with two-space indentation. Review numeric precision and duplicate keys before replacing your source.
Base64 encode and decode
Encode UTF-8 text as Base64 or decode Base64 into UTF-8 text. This is a text converter, not encryption or arbitrary binary-file decoding.
Count words and characters
Count whitespace-separated words, Unicode code points and lines locally. Understand the counting rule before checking an application limit.
Generate a secure password
Generate a local random password of 12–128 characters using browser cryptographic randomness. Check the destination’s accepted characters.
Convert KB, MB, KiB and MiB
Convert bytes, decimal KB/MB and binary KiB/MiB. Compare upload limits precisely; converting a number does not compress a file.
Check inputs and outputs
The calculation uses your input locally; no server receives the JSON or generated password value. Copying writes the result to the system clipboard, and downloading creates a file on your device. There is no saved history. Keep important sources yourself.
